ECG services the locomotive, shipping, mechanical press, oil and gas and compression markets.
Today, ECG has four facilities in Pennsylvania.
We are seeking a full-time person for a Maintenance Mechanic II position for our facility in Hermitage, PA.
This is an hourly position and will report directly to the Maintenance Director.
This position will require overtime, weekends, rotating shifts and on-call responsibilities.
Pay range for this position will depend on candidate's experience level.
Qualifications:
Two years related experienceStrong mechanical and electrical abilities, manufacturing experience and understanding of safety and environmental practicesStrong analytical skills and demonstrated problem-solving abilitiesAbility to read/interpret blueprints and schematicsAbility to work well with a team as well as independentlyMust be results oriented with a strong desire to succeedTwo-year technical degree in Mechanical or Electrical TechnologyBasic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systemsBasic knowledge in AC and DC motor drive controlsExperience with PLC controlsFamiliar with manufacturing processes and machining equipmentMachine tool experience including major upgrades, revisions and installations both mechanically and with control systemsExperience with PLC Controls (Siemens SIMOTION, Siemens Step 7, Allen Bradley Studio 5000)Experience with gas combustion systems, set up, tuning and periodic certificationRESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Testing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining machine tools including CNC controls, PLC hardware and software, control circuits, electro/mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systemsPerforming adjustments, alignments and calibrations on equipmentInstalling and upgrading new and current equipment to adhere to LEAN PrinciplesEnsuring preventative maintenance schedules are performed on a regular basisAssisting with other duties, assignments and projects as requiredPHYSICAL DEMANDS:
