(GWBI) is looking for someone with an Electrical or Mechanical background to be a Field Service Coordinator.
The Field Service Coordinator will be responsible to dispatch and supervise of our team of Field Service Technicians who work at customer's sites to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, install and modernize overhead cranes and hoists.
This may involve electrical and mechanical systems, structural repairs, new installations and automation controls.

Respond to repair calls and dispatch Techs.
Communicate effectively with the customer to coordinate schedules.
Make any necessary arrangements for required rental equipment, hotels, etc.
Coordinate with any required subcontractors.
organize and make sure that the Techs have all necessary drawings, paperwork, customer information, material, parts, equipment and tools to perform the required job.
Inter-department communication with Sales, Engineering and Purchasing Upon post job debrief with our Techs, evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs for customers.
Work with Parts Manager and/or Sales Dept.
to develop and quote repair proposals.
Gather, maintain and disseminate job paperwork to responsible parties; these include Service Reports, Inspection Reports, Parts Requisitions, Expense Reports, etc.
Become familiar and fluent with our electronic inspection software.
Maintain fleet of company service vehicles, trailers, man lifts, portable welders, tooling and equipment.
Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; and recommending system improvements.
Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance and organization in all areas.
Competencies Excellent communication skills Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently Excellent organizational, multitasking and prioritization skills while working under pressure Qualifications Previous supervisory experience Welding, electrical, mechanical and rigging experience are a huge plus Experience with overhead cranes is preferred Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required Job Type:
