Manager of Computer Operations Position Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for monitoring applicable shift processing activities and related end-user activity in a 24/7 processing environment and ensuring a balanced and effective operating systems environment.
The incumbent completes daily processing logs and checklists, prints and delivers required reports and forms and operates and maintains peripheral equipment, as required, including tape drives, hard drives, cd/dvd drives, printers and consoles.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Performs file transfers using various delivery methods and utilities providing Tier 1 support including initial recipient of departmental calls and emails for requests and issues.
Performs routine requests and troubleshooting and escalates to Technology management as appropriate.
Uses basic analysis and math skills and may be involved in solving some issues.
Follows production checklist through shift assignment.
Is responsible for daily operations of Unisys mainframe per shift assignment.
Escalates issues and anomalies.
Exhibits attention to detail, completes all assigned tasks and escalates issues and anomalies.
Completes daily checklist and assigned operational logs.
Documents work and procedures related to computer operations.
Completes tasks and checklists independently with oversight from manager or Lead Computer Operator.
Receives direction from manager or Lead Computer Operator with schedule.
Participates in scheduled rotation and is required to meet availability requirements per schedule.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Has significant impact with production mainframe and peripheral processing systems.
Follows change control procedures.
Has internal contact with end users, computer operations management and the entire Technology organization.
Has minimal external contact, only authorized by management.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
Licensures/Certifications Required to Perform the Primary Responsibilities of this Position:
Appropriate Unisys and Fiserv virtual training modules with manager approval.
Physical Requirements or Work Conditions Beyond Traditional Office Work:
Frequent kneeling/crawling/stooping.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
