Daily tasks, Roles, Duties and Responsibilities The Service Advisor quotes customer repair costs at a competitive rate that ensures department profitability and customer satisfaction and relay that information from customer to technician.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
The following are principal duties of the Service Advisor.
They include but are not limited to the following:
Leadership and Management Represent company in a positive and professional manner.
Work with all personnel to satisfy clients and achieve company goals.
Identify areas of improvement and assist in creating and implementing solutions.
Keep up to date on market trends and new products.
Identify and investigate growth opportunities for the company with our customers.
Provide constructive feedback to department employees.
Sell the company's products and services.
Responsibilities:
The Service Advisor is responsible for ensuring that they:
Take necessary action to ensure customer satisfaction.
Writes customer and internal repair orders.
Quotes accurate customer repair costs.
Performs follow up phone calls on customers.
Schedules pickups/deliveries Acts as Service Manager in Service Manager's absence (As requested) Maintains profitability of Service Department Performs follow up calls for Home Depot and Lowes customers.
Telemarketing annual maintenance Submits warranty registrations if not already registered for warranty purposes.
Submits all warranty claims in a timely manner.
Processes warranty claim payments.
Follows up on unpaid warranty claims.
Assists customers in loading/unloading of equipment to be worked on
Job Description:
Use professional business judgment and be prepared to define plans, justify actions, and identify options as appropriate.
Deploy and maintain effective programs for direct business capture that are cost justified.
Meet assigned quotas.
Adhere to a proper business work ethic and create a similar expectation of your peers.
Possess knowledge of heavy equipment.
Must have valid driver's license.
